Hi, I’m Sabrine Guerbaya, a private language tutor with extensive experience teaching both adults and children from many backgrounds.
I’ve worked with students from the UK, India, Russia, Persia, Malta, Egypt, Switzerland, Morocco, Syria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Jordan, and France, helping each one reach their personal learning goals.I specialize in Arabic and French, teaching Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) to younger students to help them excel academically, and conversational Arabic to adults who want to speak naturally and confidently.
I also teach both academic and conversational French, tailoring each lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and goals.
I’m originally from Tunisia, a country where languages are an essential part of education and everyday life.
In Tunisia, children grow up speaking Arabic at home, learn Modern Standard Arabic at school from the age of 5, start French at 8, English at 11, and even choose another foreign language by 15.
So, from a very young age, switching between languages was completely natural to me, and it became one of my strongest assets.I’m also married to an Argentinian–Italian, and together we speak English, Spanish and French at home.
This multicultural, multilingual life has shaped how I think, teach, and communicate every day, and it’s something I’m deeply grateful for.
It allows me to connect with my students from all over the world and helps me guide them through their own language-learning journey with real empathy and understanding.
Before launching my own platform, I worked with schools and international education institutes including My Cool Class UK, Hansa One American Institute, Al Qua Education, and Preply.
I’ve also taught English, trained cabin crew in customer service and safety, and worked as a dance instructor and personal trainer, experiences that taught me the importance of flexibility, energy, and adaptability.My background in dance and fitness showed me how every person learns differently. I’m highly adaptable and often use visuals, audio, music, drawings, and games to find the best way for information to click.
Many of my students have been upgraded to higher language levels at school, and some even end up helping their classmates, something that makes me incredibly proud.Most of my business has grown organically through referrals, over 95% of my current students come from recommendations.
To me, that’s the best kind of approval, it means my students truly enjoy their lessons and see real results.
At iLearnow, I focus on personalization. Every student learns differently, so I adapt the rhythm, structure, and tools to what works best for them, whether that’s building speaking confidence or mastering academic grammar.
My goal is to make learning immersive, practical, and enjoyable, so my students can use the language naturally in real-life situations.
